THROWING ON THE POTTER'S WHEEL: Beginning/Advanced
Beginning
A fun and totally hands-on foundation course
in making wheel-thrown pottery. Designed for absolute
beginners as well as folks who have thrown a bit before but
need to get restarted or refreshed -- or just back into the studio
to make more pots!
Learn to center the clay, to create bowls, mugs, vases,
covered dishes, and other forms, to wheel-trim your
pieces, and to glaze for beautiful results.
A very satisfying experience!

Intermediate/Advanced
This 6-week class is perfect for
those of you who are comfortable with basic wheel-throwing
techniques and want to move forward. Jeremy will help you to
add to your skills and to create the forms you have in mind.
Covered jars, more sophisticated vessels, teapots, platters...

TILE-MAKING: AN INTRODUCTION
Appropriate for
absolute beginners as well as those of you who have done some
tile-making before, this is a class for those who appreciate
handmade tile.
In the first two meetings of this 3-session class Linda will
present a number of techniques for forming fabulous tiles from wet
clay. We'll glaze our bisque-fired tiles during the third
meeting, and they'll be ready to be picked up about a week later!

debit cards, and credit cards.
Classes with fewer than 4 registrants may be cancelled. If so,
you will be notified and your fee will be refunded in full.
IF YOU MUST CANCEL: Full fee refunded if you notify us 7 or more
days prior to the start of the class. Half of fee refunded if 3 days
prior. No refund if less than 3 days prior.
