CLASS FEES
Our class fees include more:  use of studio equipment, materials (clay & glazes), all kiln firings, and of course, expert instruction.

 

HOLIDAY GIFTS FROM THE WHEEL:
For intermediate-level students

Spend the first two sessions at the potter's wheel, making and trimming beautiful mugs, bowls, cups, covered jars, casseroles, (Santa's list goes on and on...).

The third session is for glazing all those wonderous goodies.

Tuesdays, November 29 - December 13 (3 sessions), 6:30 - 8:45pm 
Taught by Jeremy Kraemer

Fee: $108*  Maximum: 5 students

*Class fee includes 1 bag of clay, glazes, and firings.

 


THROWING ON THE POTTER'S WHEEL:  Beginning/Advanced Beginning
A fun and totally hands-on foundation course in making wheel-thrown pottery.  Designed for absolute beginners as well as folks who have thrown before but want to get restarted or refreshed.

Learn to center the clay, to create bowls, mugs, vases, covered dishes, and other forms, to wheel-trim your pieces, and to glaze for beautiful results.

Join us for a very satisfying experience!

Thursdays, October 27 - December 1, Skip November 24 (5 sessions), 6:15 - 8:30pm 
Taught by Chris Odt

Fee: $160*  Maximum: 5 students

Mondays, November 14 - December 12 (5 sessions), 7:00 - 9:00pm 
Taught by Cathy Ostrom

Fee: $145*  Maximum: 5 students

*Fee includes clay, glazes, and firings.  Also included is up to 2 hours of uninstructed studio time outside of class, per week.

 

 

TILE-MAKING, AN INTRODUCTION
Appropriate for beginners as well as those of you who have done some tile-making before, this is a class for those who appreciate handmade tile.Detailing a plaster mold

We will present a number of techniques for forming, texturing, and carving fabulous tiles from wet clay, and will experiment with glazing and finishing options.

Tuesdays, October 11, October 18, and November 1 (3 sessions), 6:30 - 8:30pm 
Taught by Linda Leighton
All skill levels welcome

Fee: $90  includes clay, glazes, and firings
Maximum: 6 students

 

SIGNING UP for CLASSES
Payment of 1/2 or more of the class fee reserves your spot. Please drop by the studio or call or mail in your registration.  We accept cash, checks, debit cards, and credit cards. 

Classes with fewer than 4 registrants may be cancelled. If so, you will be notified and your fee will be refunded in full.

IF YOU MUST CANCEL: Full fee refunded if you notify us 7 or more days prior to the start of the class. Half of fee refunded if 3 days prior. No refund if less than 3 days prior.
